What’s Included in a Move Out Clean (and Why it Costs More)
You’ve finally packed the last box and vowed to never move again. Then you look around and realize you still need to clean. So what is a move out clean - and why does it cost more than regular cleaning? Let’s break it down.
What’s Included in a Move Out Clean
A move out clean is like pressing the reset button on your home. We’re talking top to bottom, edge to edge, elbow grease kind of cleaning. We scrub tubs, wipe out cabinets and drawers, clean inside the oven and fridge (yes, we can even make the inside of your oven look new), tackle baseboards, detail light switches and doors, and make those floors sparkle. If it can collect grime, we’re getting it.
Why Move Out Cleans Cost More
Move out cleans cost more because they take more time, more elbow grease, and definitely more cleaning products. It takes a skilled team to know what products are safe on different surfaces and a trained eye to find the hidden dirt (you know that little cup in your washing machine that you pour your laundry detergent in? It’s dirty. And sticky. And there’s probably a few hairs). It’s a big job that makes a big difference, and that extra effort is reflected in the price.
How Much do they Cost?
Our move out cleans start at $250 for apartments and $300 for houses. Pricing can vary depending on size, condition, and any special requests, but that’s always our starting point. We know what it takes to make a home feel new, and follow a thorough checklist to make sure every surface is addressed with care (even the ones that look clean already).
Exact pricing depends on size condition, and how much buildup is present - but we’ll always give you a clear quote up front.
